The metro

Lyon is one of the six French metropolitan areas to have a metro. Comprising four lines, the network efficiently serves the municipalities it passes through (Lyon, Villeurbanne, Caluire-et-Cuire, Vaulx-en-Velin, Vénissieux, Saint-Genis-Laval, and Oullins-Pierre-Bénite) and, along with other modes, actively contributes to the connection of the entire Rhône territory.

The four lines of the network:

Vaulx-en-Velin - La Soie

Perrache

Charpennes - Charles Hernu

Hôpital Lyon Sud

Hôtel de Ville - Louis Pradel

Cuire

Gare de Vénissieux

Gare de Vaise
